What You Bring to the Table

  • An undergraduate degree in Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline

  • 5-12 years of experience in the AEC industry;

  • Advanced degrees and PE licensure appreciated but not required

  • Management of staff utilization rates targeting 80%

  • A track record of successful responsible management of multiple projects concurrently

  • Positive financial management for projects

  • Experience in drafting client-consultant agreements and fee preparation

  • An active presence in industry- and client-related professional organizations

  • Experience supporting marketing and business development goals, building client relationships, and contributing to proposals.

  • The ability to communicate effectively with owners, clients, and contractors as well as co-consultants

  • A highly motivated and self-directed disposition

  • The ability to encourage, engage, and educate team members

  • The ability to work as a team player on project teams and within the office structure

  • Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT

How You'll Spend Your Day

  • You will work as a lead of a project team to help imagine, conceptualize and design great lighting, technology and power design, taking the team and the project through to the final punch to see the end result

  • Help your team present their concepts to clients and any additional stakeholders

  • Peer-review design documents, schematics and specifications for approval

  • Peer-review construction documents for signoff

  • Source materials from a large variety of manufacturers to allow for the best solutions for the project

  • Review project reports from designers to ensure schedule and budget milestones are being hit

  • Be the point of contact for clients, responding in a timely and professional manner

  • Weekly and monthly scheduling of team hours for successful completion of the project

  • Engage in business development and marketing efforts

Project Manager

Full Time Role | $90,000 - $130,000

As a project manager, your leadership will be key not only to the success of your projects but to the overall growth and advancement of the firm.  Your skills and experience as a designer/engineer will be called upon to educate and foster the growth of our great team and to tackle the unique complexities of various projects along the way. 

You will be responsible for the organization and oversight of an exciting and wide variety of project types, sharing resources with other project managers, and navigating both project and designer schedules accordingly. Coordination with designers of different levels will be required to develop project documents, not only in review but in design assistance and solutions. It’s a role that requires dedication and structure but most of all compassion, mentorship, and teamwork.  The end results are an amazing array of successful projects, enriching the lives of the people they serve, and a team of fun and imaginative designers/engineers who can’t wait to see what’s next!
