Juliana has a background as an Environmental Technician and Marine Biology Technician, having attended public colleges for both. With a passion for environmental topics, she chose to pursue a master’s degree in Engineering with a minor in Environmental Technologies. She completed all these courses in São Paulo, Brazil, before moving to the USA to study English in 2018. Juliana was motivated to learn a new language to enhance her resume and potentially pursue a new degree. After meeting her husband in the US, she decided to stay in the country, which she now calls her new home. She loves science, physics, studying the universe, books, puzzles, and her two dogs, Dobby and Zinho (in Portuguese, "zinho" is often added to indicate something small).
