The Great Outdoors Waterpark in Lafayette, Colorado, is a vibrant oasis perfect for family fun and relaxation. Set against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, this expansive waterpark features a variety of attractions, including thrilling water slides, a lazy river, and a spacious wave pool. Younger guests can enjoy a dedicated kids' area with smaller slides and interactive play structures, ensuring everyone finds something to love.

AE Design provided power and lighting design for a major renovation of the park, including an expanded pool deck, upgraded mechanical systems, controlled entry, and parking infrastructure. A new entry building and bath house showcase beautiful timber frame design as guests enter the park. Close coordination with food service consultants, local utilities, the architect, and a pool specialist allowed for completion of the project to meet the owner’s needs.
