Erie Community Park
Cultivating Community for Years to Come
Following a 5-acre expansion in 2017, the Town of Erie secured an additional 12 acres of land adjacent to Erie Community Park and initiated plans for a $1.1 million reinvigoration of the area aimed to create a more inviting, community-oriented space for visitors of all ages to enjoy. This massive expansion added a multitude of amenities from skate parks and sports courts to a 6,000-seat amphitheater.
AE Design oversaw the lighting and electrical design for the newly obtained acreage. The town aimed not only to create an accessible space for day and night activities but also to ensure the overall safety of its users. Ample features, pedestrian, and security lighting allow visitors to comfortably explore and engage with the park amenities well after the sun has set.
Our coordination of site electrical utilities ensured reliable operation of all lighting, water, sewer, storm, and irrigation systems, with a design approach focused on easy maintenance and longevity.
