Nestled in a close-knit mountain town, the recently renovated Clear Creek Metropolitan Recreation District (CCMRD) provided a much-needed community destination. The modern mountain design highlights functional, decorative fixtures instead of typical recreation center lighting. To meet energy and budget requirements, while still supporting CCMRD’s lighting needs, a full building lighting control system was implemented along with small control zones, and the use of LED lights where possible. The energy-efficient design contributed to a $26,000 rebate through Xcel's EDA program.
