Chris Lundahl

LIGHTING DESIGNER

Born and raised in Colorado, Chris spent his childhood exploring the great outdoors and obsessing about movies. When he discovered the idea of lighting design as a career in collage, it was evident that seeing the world through a cinematographic mindset is a handy and essential tool for driving emotion, setting the scene, and telling stories in the world of live events and theatrical performances. Theatrical lighting design took Chris across the country, with residencies in San Diego, New York City, and the San Francisco Bay Area. Now, Chris brings the same outlook and mindset to architecture, creating mood and atmosphere and ensuring functionality for people in their daily lives by articulating spaces through the distribution of light.

Fun Fact:

Despite not being a "theater kid" in his youth, Chris's lighting design career took him all the way to Broadway, where he worked on the production of Falsetto's.
