Julep, a sophistical Southern cuisine-based restaurant, honors the traditions of southern hospitality while featuring local foods and produce. The dining experience is meant to be intimate, with the best seat of the house walking the fine line of a solitary table overlooking the kitchen, giving the diner a combination of transparency into the food prep process while giving them privacy in an open restaurant layout.

Lighting was carefully designed and aimed to reinforce the feeling of intimacy in an open space. While the overall space is darkened for a moody feel, each table receives a spotlight, creating a cozy dining experience.
