BABI YAR MEMORIAL PARK
Denver, Colorado
The 27-acre park in the heart of Denver was completed in 1982 as a memorial to commemorate the victims of the 1941-1943 Nazi massacre of Ukrainian Jews and others in Kiev. Consisting of an amphitheater, a grove, a ravine and a Star of David-shaped walkway surrounding the heart of the park.
In 2011 the park received a renovation and upgrade, including landscaping, new lighting and added sculptural elements.
